Done with Oil Pastels
19 December 2012
On our trip to Canada to visit cousins and go to a wedding we went to Tim Hortons. It is a donut shop. We went there because I said I remember the snow and the donuts from last time we went to Canada (almost 3 years ago). We got kinds of donuts I never remember having before. They were good, especially the maple flavored ones.
Megan liked the cream filled ones and the ones with frosting–which was just about all she ate! Andrea and I liked the maple and the honey ones the best.
 Daddy, Momma and Adrian liked the maple ones best.
Today I am thankful for Momma.
She enjoys cooking (and letting us learn how to too).
Momma also likes taking pictures (and letting us learn how to too).
She also likes to sew (and letting us learn how to too).
Another thing she likes is the songs in The Fellowship Of The Ring especially this one;
Sing hay!
For the bath at the end of the day!
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing.
O water hot is a noble thing
She also likes this song;
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday to you,
Happy birthday dear Mommy,
Happy birthday to you!!!!!Â
Megan drew this picture a few days ago. I think that it looks like a man with a BIG mustache and a cut on his chin who fell asleep in front of his campfire.
I really like Megan’s pictures when it is easy to imagine what it is.
What do you think she drew?
Today I am thankful that my blog got fixed !
A little bit ago the picture in the right hand corner were generic pictures, so a few days ago Daddy fixed it so we had my pictures up there.
Today I am thankful for squirrels.
We have had lots in our backyard that we have been enjoying watching. They are enjoying chasing each other up and down trees and all around the place. So I decided to “shoot” some; it is very hard. I have yet to know how a camera can focus on a small twig but not a squirrel.
This one is my favorite pictures.
Momma gave us a fun assignment for this month. Everyday we need to find one thing we are thankful for and post it. (She came up with the idea today, so I can catch up on the other 5 days)

Some things Thomas and I like to do together;
P.S. We made this fort in our backyard behind the old pond thing in the woods. 🙂
