We had fun with glow in the dark bubbles last night for Audrey’s birthday.

Flowers
Mommy found a way to make flower pictures look really neat. She taught us and told us we could have fun editing.
I took this picture at Bonneville Mill’s mum garden last year. When we go to the mill we normally go to the garden because it is across the bridge from the mill. There are a lot of different types of mums there but my favorites are the ones with bugs on them.
Sign of Spring
Are you enjoying the slushly spring weather? Today we went out to look for signs of spring. Some of our gardens are turning green! There are also buckets by our maple trees. (we have made 15½ cups of syrup already) We also noticed that there is not much snow on the ground….
… And with the snow out of the way, it is time to get out cleats, shin guards and soccer balls!
Sledding

We went sledding today!
Momma wanted to get some pictures of Bonnyville mill during winter, so we decided to go sledding too. I asked Mommy to go sledding with me while Audrey got pictures. The second time we went down we spun around and Mom YELLED!
Megan decided it was time to go home before I was ready 🙁
We went sledding!

Ice Bubbles
This morning we went outside to take pictures of Ice Bubbles. To make them you need bubble mixture, wands, a VERY cold day, very warm clothes (don’t forget mittens and hats!) and, of course, a camera!
Go outside when the temperature is below freezing and blow some bubbles. Try to catch them on the wand or just let them float away. As you watch them they will start to get “foggy”. If they pop when they get like that, they will look like plastic wrap that has been crumpled up and is floating away…..
Or, you can make them land on something cold. If it works–it takes some practice–you can watch them freeze. Then after they are frozen, to make them even neater, poke them with your bubble wand. There will be a hole in the bubble, but the bubble will still be there.

Fun Picture Idea
Momma saw a neat idea called Bokeh that she really liked. So today we tried it.
To do it you;
- Cut a circle the size of your camera lens and cut out a shape you like.
- We tried it on a 55-80 mm lens. We are not sure it would work on another one.
- Put it on your lens.
- Point it at some lights and get them out of focus. If you did not make the hole too small the lights will look the shape you cut out!
