Mark is currently acting like an expectant father! Two butterflies have hatched and he is eagerly waiting for the remaining three.
He has the cage nearby what ever he does so he can be there as soon as the next one emerges!

Congratulations!! Since I was babysitting when they formed their chrysalises, I am excited as well. I do know that one chrysalis is at least one day behind the others. I would think that by the end of the day 4 should have emerged and the 5th tomorrow or Saturday.

Wow! That’s exciting! Has Mark been able to see any butterflies hatch?
Daddy and I stayed up last night watching, but I am not sure when the third one emerged. We finally went to bed 🙂 But it came out very early this morning because when I looked, I could not tell which one was the newest one.
Maybe we can watch when the other two come out.
At about 7:30 this morning, the fourth one came out! I tried calling you, but you were sound asleep ): . It was really neat watching how it pulled itself out of its chrysalis.
