We made Journey Cakes (or jonny-cakes) today.
here is how:
- 1 cup corn meal
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbl Maple Syrup or Honey
- Boiling water
- Bacon grease
Pour corn meal into a bowl with salt and maple syrup. Add enough water to make a stiff dough. Drop onto greased pan and bake for about 6 minutes per side. Serve with maple syrup.
