School Days

Mark being SillyThis is me being silly. Can you guess who I am pretending to be?

Doing mathToday’s school was not as fun as it could be. Math! I did pretty good, but I had to do some of it twice. Wrong answers are erased and I have to do them alllllllll over again.Doing Math

Andrea is working on her school work. “Whooo wee! I like school so far! ” She says she likes to color! Andrea working on her workbook

Here are some things that I like to do in school. Make big bubbles! Here’s the recipe for Track Goop. Miss Krista gave it to me.

Solution A.

1 cup water

1 cup Elmers glue (7.625 ounce bottle)

7-8 drops food coloring (I like green)

Mix all of these ingredients into a bowl.

Solution B. In another bowl:

1 1/3 cup warm water

4 teaspoons borax laundry booster (called 20 Mule Team)

Mix these ingredients until completely dissolved.

Slowly poor Solution A into Solution B. DO NOT MIX! (A chemical reaction happens. Pour it in and watch! It looked like it went poof! I thought it looked like smoke when it first appeared. Poof!)

Roll solution around in bowl 4 – 6 times.

Left the semi solid solution out and knead it a few minutes.

Get a straw, flatten the goop out, put the straw under the goop and blow! You can make it sound like it’s farting, or make bubbles, you can put tracks in it, pick it up and bounce it on the table and a lot of other fun stuff!

You can re-use when stored in a sealed airtight bag.

I have made turtles galore out of clay.

I am growing some Pitcher plants, Venus Fly traps and Sundew plants. I am growing an avocado tree from an avocado seed.

We also are growing crystals!

I have to go, I have to finish my school work! Spelling, Yuck! (for some of it) I get to write a story, I like it, it’s fuuunnnn!

Goodbye. For now.
