When we got to the Pinewood Derby, Mr. Linley checked my car, it was to heavy. We carved a lot out of the back. I did not think it looked good until Cardin said that it looked like a jet engine! Then I thought it looked better.

I tied the fifth race. I lost the call to pick which track, and the other racer picked the track he won on, but I still won the tie breaker.
I won all of the rest of them!
When the trophys were handed out I came in 3rd place! My car got “impounded” so that it can race the “Big Race” in early summer.
Good job Mark! Looks aren’t everything. It’s what is inside that counts and your car must have had a jet engine!
Wish we had been there.
Love you,
Oma
I’ll do this again, first time wasn’t recorded on this entry. Mark you did a good job, and in fact it was a great job……
Well done !! That must have been fun !!
